Ayán & Litsandra Zamora

Send a Note Start a Campaign

We are Ayán and Litsandra Zamora, and we have two daughters, Liliana and Litsary.

It is a joy and privilege to serve God as a family. Since we were very young, we gave our hearts to the work of the Lord's vineyard, and we have passed along this same desire to our daughters since they were just little girls. At present, they are Sunday School teachers for children, and both are a great help in our ministry.

Today, after many years and feeling the same passion for the Lord's work as in our youth, we continue serving Him by reaching out to needy souls, extending to them the love of Jesus. We have been very involved in children's and youth work for several years, serving as counselors, camp workers, and in other Christian activities. ACTION has been a great opportunity for us to enter the ministry full-time, which had been our dream for many years.

Now, within ACTION's valuable ministry, we have seen these same areas of outreach and service strengthened and enlarged. We have worked with handicapped children and those with chronic illnesses, visited orphanages, and traveled to isolated villages in mountainous regions.

To rural areas, we have taken donations of supplies received from abroad, such as clothing, shoes, reading glasses, and medicines. We have also worked with the elderly. We present workshops, sharpening the Bible training of pastors and evangelists, and also have been able to give bicycles to these workers to improve their evangelistic outreach. Following natural disasters, such as hurricanes, which have left vast areas completely devastated, we have been able to take food, small cash gifts, Christian literature, bicycles, and even horses to areas cut off from normal supply routes.

We also serve in the local church in the city of Bayamo, Ayán as treasurer and deacon and Litsandra as a worship leader. Every effort made gives us satisfaction and contentedness knowing that we are serving God. We have carried His love to the hearts of the needy and afflicted. We have contributed to the preparation of pastors, leaders and evangelists. There is no greater joy that one can feel than serving in the work of God. To Him be the glory!
