What We Do
Committed to fulfilling the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ as given in Matthew 28:18-20, ACTION works in cooperation with local churches and other national organizations to reach people for Christ (evangelism), train them in Christian living (discipleship), and assist them in their physical and economic needs (development).
EVANGELISM
ACTION's evangelism efforts include:
- Street outreach, especially to streetkids
- Rescue centers/homes
- Camps for the underprivileged
- Evangelistic feedings
- Prison work
- International student outreach
- Community evangelism (especially in squatter areas and shanty towns)
- Bible distribution
- Film evangelism
DISCIPLESHIP
ACTION endeavors to make disciples through:
- Bible teaching - With individuals- Group studies (adults/kids)
- Residential children's homes
- Vocational/discipleship training
- Follow-up camps
- ACTION kids clubs
- Church-planting among the poor
DEVELOPMENT
ACTION seeks to meet physical needs through development ministries such as:
- Vocational/discipleship training school
- Rescue centers
- Feeding programs
- Disaster relief work
- Outreach to street kids and children at risk
ACTION also provides:
- Teachers for missionary children
- Assistance to national pastors
- Bible study materials for local pastors
- Christian books and commentaries for national pastors and Christian workers
- Administrative services for missionaries (field and home offices)
- Literature about ACTION ministries
