I arrived in Manila in February 2009 to join ACTION's Street Impact Team in working with children at risk.  I spent a few months visiting different ministries, during which time I helped to start a local outreach to children sleeping on the streets of Silang, Cavite.  That outreach has continued for over a year now and has now expanded to include a weekly Bible study on the street in two locations.  We are also now helping to send some kids to public school.  We are praying about opening a shelter for street children after I finish my language study.
