Nziza Julius is a 37-year-old Rwandan who has served as a lay pastor in the region of Kanombe for the past two years. Nziza was in Bill & Bobbie Trenckmann’s first discipleship class at Africa New Life Ministries in 2007 and he has continued to study with them each year. He also brought many students from Kanombe to discipleship classes in 2009. In February, Nziza will begin teaching a class in the native language of Kinyarwanda to students in Kanombe. After attending classes taught by the Trenckmanns each week of the coming semester, he will then teach what he has learned to his students. This is the beginning of the fulfillment of the Trenckmanns’ vision to raise up national Rwandans to disciple their fellow countrymen! Please pray that God will use Nziza mightily in this new context!
