Rex and Donna are from Washington state, USA. They joined ACTION in 1992 as associates through the Canada Office, having served in a church-planting ministry in Viña del Mar, Province of Valparaíso, Chile, since 1983. In 1996, they became career members through the USA Office and moved into administration in the ACTION headquarters in Washington. Rex now serves as USA Director and Chairman of the International Council, and Secretary of the ACTION USA Board of Trustees. Donna serves ACTION México and Cuba in the areas of camping and Sunday School teacher training. The Carlaws have one daughter, Catherine, (12/29/84) who is a graduate student in Hispanic Studies at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She was born in Reñaca, Viña del Mar, Chile. During vacations, she often serves in México. The Carlaws are active in Kingston Christian Church and they are musicians in the Liberty Bay Orchestra of Gateway Fellowship in Poulsbo, Washington.
