David and Donna live in Hudson, North Carolina. They started their missions career in 1977 by joining Wycliffe Bible Translators. They served with Wycliffe JAARS going to the Philippines in 1980 and served there until 1991. In 1991 they transferred their membership to ACTION. Their first two-year assignment with ACTION was as dorm parents at Faith Academy near Manila, Philippines. They have two married daughters, five grandchildren and a son, Michael, a freshman at Appalachian State University.

Based in North Carolina, David and Donna serve as missions mobilizers and are pursuing more involvement in what is referred to as Business As Mission or Great Commission Companies.
