In 1985 Diane and Wayne left for the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean to serve with Africa Evangelical Fellowship (AEF). They served in Mauritius for three years ministering to a church in crisis. After further studies in Canada they did a second term with AEF on the island of Reunion, this time in a leadership training capacity. They returned home to Canada in 1994. While in Canada, the Lord opened a door for Wayne to develop the ministry of Light To My Path Book Distribution. The focus of this ministry is to write Bible Study material that would encourage and support pastors and Christian workers living in developing countries.

After a trip to the Philippines in 2003, Wayne was asked to consider merging Light To My Path Book Distribution with Action International Ministries. Wayne has been publishing a variety of Bible Study books for distribution to Christian workers in over 40 countries.

Diane and Wayne live with their three children David (9/5/1984), Alisa (7/5/1987) and Christina (10/26/1988) in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, Canada. Their home church is Grace Fellowship Church in Sydney Mines. They have been with ACTION since October of 2003.
