Robert is from Scotland and first went to Brazil when his parents went out as BMS missionaries in 1992. After graduating from high school in 1999, he went home to Scotland. In 2001 God called him back to work with Brazil's urban poor. Since then he has worked with ABBA, first in a children's home and more recently with poor families in a needy community. He met and married Silvana, a Brazilian who had worked there for five years. Together they are opening a prevention arm of ABBA's ministry.
