Mavis is a single lady from England. She joined ACTION via Canada in 1986. Following nine months of language study in Lipa City, Mavis moved to Manila. For two years she was involved in medical and evangelistic outreaches with Christian Growth Ministries. She also assisted a church planting team in research in the community and later served with DEACON in community development.

Since December 1991, Mavis has operated a birthing home for mothers, including pre-natal and post-natal care in Antipolo area.
