Devendra, Rokono and their team plant churches in least reached regions, train rural leaders, help poor kids go to school, impart  employment skills such as driving and help the marginalized with pigs for income generation.

Devendra graduated from North Bengal University (BA Eco major), Prairie Bible Institute (BTh) and Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM). Rokono has a post graduate degree in English from Punjab University.

The Rais have four children.  Wenona, 18, Karen, 16, and Tepootu Zoe, 14, study in a boarding school  - Kodaikanal International School-  2229 miles away while their son, Avinash Ed, 12, stays with them.

Rokono leads C & Y ministry of Community Bible Study International. The Rais would love to have short term teams come and help them in their work among the poor and the least reached.
