Josh & Abby and their family are in Gulu, Uganda learning Acoli language and culture.
Josh graduated with his MDiv from Southern Theological Seminary and served full time in their sending church in New Hampshire for 6 years. He is passionate about the Gospel, discipling men, teaching, and being an encouragement to brothers in Christ. He is focused on Pastoral Leadership Development for needy pastors in Northern Uganda and surrounding regions. He is also Acting Field Director focused on discipling the Ugandan ministry coordinators.
Abby is a Family Medicine doctor and also has her Master's of Public Health. She specifically has a passion and training for helping children with various special needs.
Gracie (12/4/03) loves adventures and being with family and friends. She has unique challenges with her cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Gracie is our image of God's grace adopted from Liberia. Ana (12/5/07) is very active, curious, and precocious. She loves reading and playing with friends. Both girls make friends easily and help us connect with people quickly! Moses (around the same age as Ana) is just joining our family through local adoption here in Gulu - he is quite the athlete and full of joy! Noah (8/27/10) keeps us jumping with his curiosity and energy! He is all boy and not afraid to get dirty in the African soil!
"WHERE YOU LIVE SHOULD NOT DECIDE WHETHER YOU LIVE OR WHETHER YOU DIE". These words are found on the outline of the African continent, part of a logo on T-shirts and hoodies, created to raise funds for the ministry of ACTION Gulu. To order a T-shirt or hoodie, or to find out more about this fund-raising project, click "Where You Live" T-shirt/hoodie fundraising project.
