Ron Reynolds recently retired from Millar College of the Bible in Saskatchewan, Canada and will now be assisting Doug Nichols (founder of ACTION) and the ACTION Canada office, as Children in Crisis Facilitator.

Along with his wife Beth, Ron grew up in Ontario, but moved to the prairies to attend Bible college and seminary, and subsequently to serve in Christian ministry.  The Reynolds have five children spread across three provinces, and currently enjoy six grandchildren.

Ron has his BRE and MA in Leadership from Briercrest Schools.  He has served in the area of financial management for over 32 years with several Christian organizations (Child Evangelism Fellowship, Briercrest Schools, Fellowship Baptist Churches of Canada, and Millar College of the Bible).  He has also served on the ACTION Canada Board for the past eight years, and is active in his local church.

As a couple, Ron and Beth have also served for many years in children's ministry, including kids’ meetings, church programs and camps.  In 2005 they led a short term team to visit ACTION ministries in the Philippines.  Ron and Beth have enjoyed working together. Beth is retiring from high school teaching at the end of the 2010-2011 school year, and, at that time, plans to apply for missionary status as well.

Ron’s desire, Lord willing, is to be active for the Lord in his senior years and looks forward to his new role of being a support and encouragement to our Children in Crisis (CiC) missionaries worldwide.  He would like to be available to serve in any way that will enhance the ministries of ACTION. He plans on taking short term teams to ACTION fields and to represent the work of ACTION at Bible colleges and mission conferences across Canada, to share the needs of Children in Crisis and recruit CiC workers.
