Richard & Joyelle were accepted to serve with ACTION International in January 2010. They hope to have the necessary support in place, with God in control, and be on the field, in Gulu, N.Uganda, by January 2013.

Richard graduated from Steinbach Bible College with a degree in Youth Ministry and has spent many summers working as a Bible camp counsellor and director. He is presently working at the local high school as an educational assistant which gives opportunities to connect with youth from many different backgrounds and beliefs. Rich is passionate about going alongside hurting youth and watching them grow into godly men.

Joyelle also graduated from Steinbach Bible College with a degree in Peer Counseling and has been heavily involved in camp ministry. Together, Joyelle and Richard, have spent several years volunteering in their church youth program as sponsors. Joyelle also had the opportunity of volunteering, for a year, in Kenyan and Ugandan childrens' homes. Her heart is driven to see children be children who otherwise have to grow up beyond their years, and to show love and affection to those who otherwise have experienced it minimally.

Malakai and Ethan (twin boys, born 03/23/10) were a most welcomed addition to their family! After arriving 10 weeks early, they fought hard and continue to grow physically and in character every day! They love to laugh and bring many smiles in and out of their home! Kai and Ethan are incredibly adaptable and a perfect fit for the family!
