Select a Missionary:
In October 2005, Greg and Sarah Seiling responded to the call to ministry that they had felt on their lives since teenagers. They went to Manila, Philippines on a short term mission trip for two months, serving with International Teams. After the two months, even with the challenges and difficulties of small town kids adjusting to life in Manila, they felt God urging them to go back for more of a long term assignment. During the three years of serving among children in crisis in the Philippines, they came in contact with ACTION International missionaries through networking and partnership. Through this time they learned of ACTION’s strong focus and commitment to ministering to children in crisis. After sharing the dream that God had laid on their hearts of starting a long term facility for street children with ACTION missionaries, and seeing how this would fit under ACTION’s mission and vision, they started making steps toward becoming ACTION missionaries.
In July 2010, Greg and Sarah were accepted as ACTION Canada missionaries. Greg is currently studying at Master’s College and Seminary in Peterborough, Ontario working towards a Diploma in Ministerial Studies. Sarah, who graduated as a Registered Practical Nurse in 2002, works fulltime as a community nurse. They plan to return to the Philippines after Greg is finished his studies in 2012.
Greg and Sarah are also presently raising the financial and prayer support necessary to return and live in the Philippines.
