When Wayne Wong met Phoebe Ang in Vancouver, in 1998, little did they know their marriage would be the start of their missionary journey. Almost 10 years later, Wayne discovered an almost perfect ministry fit while using his vacation time to do a short term missions trip in the Philippines with Working Hands. Now Wayne is preparing to join Working Hands ministry team as a Campus Chaplain. He will use his technical background and biblical training to assist the instructors as they teach young men a trade and become obedient followers of Jesus. Phoebe will use her administrative experience as OMF Pacific Regional Coordinator to assist in the Working Hands office. They have one son, Jouren, who’s just as eager to be a part of this endeavor.
