ACTION Cambodia is looking for committed Christians to join their team as full-time missionaries to serve as in the Children in Crisis ministry as Reading Teachers.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between churches, community schools, street children centers, and orphanages to provide reading education for their children
• Provide adult education in reading skills
• Research biblical-based reading materials
• Solicit support to provide these materials to schools and ministries

Qualifications

• Love for and experience in working with children
• Creative, responsible, and faithful
• Strong sense of commitment; ready to persevere through adversity
• At least 18 years old
• A growing Christian
• Active in ministry in a local church
• Recommended by pastor and church
• Teachable
• Adaptable
• Able to accept difficult circumstances
• Good sense of humor
• Not easily discouraged
• Spiritually mature
• Able to accept various leadership styles
