Cambodia: Sports Evangelists


ACTION Cambodia is looking for committed Christians to join their team as full-time missionaries to serve in the Children in Crisis ministry as Sports Evangelists.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and direct sports events to use as an evangelistic forum
  • Act as liaison between ACTION Cambodia and the Evangelical Fellowship of Cambodia
  • Communicate with supporters
  • Recruit new supporters
  • Utilize short-term mission teams

Qualifications

  • Love for and experience in working with children
  • Creative, responsible, faithful
  • Strong sense of commitment; ready to persevere through adversity
  • At least 18 years old
  • A growing Christian
  • Active in ministry in a local church
  • Recommended by pastor and church
  • Teachable
  • Adaptable
  • Able to accept difficult circumstances
  • Good sense of humor
  • Not easily discouraged
  • Spiritually mature
  • Able to accept various leadership styles
  • Other items set forth by the Candidate Secretary’s office
