The PLD Church Outreach Educator will work in Lusaka, Zambia, to promote practical approaches to church outreach by coaching church leaders to address the felt needs in their community.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and execution of pastor conferences.
• Co-teach classes for pastors on discipleship.
• Set up practical outreach activities for church leaders and their ministry teams.
• Nurture a learning atmosphere for 2:7 students that is safe, supportive, transparent and one that cultivates spiritual growth.
• Serve as a missions resource for the APC program.

Qualifications

• Formal Bible training / or undergraduate work in missions
• Five years experience serving under member church leadership
• Gifts of evangelism and mercy
• Minimum commitment of two years
• At least 18 years old
• A growing Christian
• Active in ministry in a local church
• Recommended by pastor and church
• Teachable
• Adaptable
• Able to accept difficult circumstances
• Good sense of humor
• Not easily discouraged
• Spiritually mature
• Able to accept various leadership styles
