Zambia: PLD Discipleship Group Facilitator


The PLD Discipleship Group Facilitator will oversee the implementation of a comprehensive discipleship program for pastors, aspiring pastors, and lay leaders in Lusaka, Zambia.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct discipleship classes two times per week as lead facilitator.
  • Spend time with class participants outside of class, establishing accountability groups for them.
  • Attend participant churches at least once a month.
  • Visit two discipleship groups per month that class participants are running in their own churches.
  • Coach pastors one-on-one as they disciple their own church members.

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old
  • A growing Christian
  • Active in ministry in a local church
  • Recommended by pastor and church
  • Teachable
  • Adaptable
  • Able to accept difficult circumstances
  • Good sense of humor
  • Not easily discouraged
  • Spiritually mature
  • Able to accept various leadership styles
  • Other items set forth by the Candidate Secretary’s office
