India: Orphanage Workers


Action International Ministries is looking for four to five people to serve as short-term orphanage workers at the ASHA Children’s Home in Varanasi, India. This orphanage is home to 21 orphans and provides love, a trusting and nurturing environment, and education.

Requirements

  • Provide love and tutoring for orphans.

Qualifications

  • Three to four week time commitment (flexible dates)
  • At least 18 years old
  • A growing Christian
  • Active in ministry in a local church
  • Recommended by pastor and church
  • Teachable
  • Adaptable
  • Able to accept difficult circumstances
  • Good sense of humor
  • Not easily discouraged
  • Spiritually mature
  • Able to accept various leadership styles
  • Other items set forth by the Candidate Secretary’s office
