Malawi: Pastoral Leadership Development Workers


Pastoral Leadership Development Workers are needed to assist with the ongoing ministry of leadership development of rural church leaders. 

Responsibilities

  • Discipleship of church leaders.
  • Teaching in the local theology seminary extension.
  • Teaching through the Institute for Biblical Training of Church Leaders.
  • Teaching a new believers training course to church leaders.
  • Preaching in local churches.
  • Coordination of seminars and other programs focused on church leadership.

Qualifications

  • Short-term or career commitment
  • At least 18 years old
  • A growing Christian
  • Active in ministry in a local church
  • Recommended by pastor and church
  • Teachable
  • Adaptable
  • Able to accept difficult circumstances
  • Good sense of humor
  • Not easily discouraged
  • Spiritually mature
  • Able to accept various leadership styles
  • Other items set forth by the Candidate Secretary’s office
