Smrittee R.

Smrittee comes from a poor and tragic family background. Her parents divorced due to her father's alcoholism and family violence. Her mother remarried, but Smrittee stayed with her father.

She went to live with her grandparents when her father traveled to India to find work. Tragically, her father was killed by a train in India. Soon, her grandparents could no longer care for Smrittee, so she was referred to Hope Home for care.

In Nepal, parentless children are very open to exploitation and many are sold to sex traders by impoverished families for up to Rs 6000 ($53 USD). In Nepal, some 50 girls are trafficked into India on a daily basis into the sex trade.

He is very happy and excited to have joined Hope home where he receives the love of a supportive Christian family, nutritious meals, and his medical and educational needs are met.

Thank you for your prayers and support. You have the opportunity to touch and transform the life of this girl and give her a hope and a future.
