Hauge Family

Hi, it’s the Hauge family! 

We are so thankful for the opportunity to visit and minister in Zambia this summer! We are excited to see what God has in store for our family as we work alongside the Huckaby family and Action Zambia. 

It was over 20 years ago that Chris and I made our first trip to Zambia. Ever since then it has held such a special place in our hearts. In fact, 17 years ago we went back and adopted our son Christian there. We were able to travel back with our girls in 2015 and had planned a trip in 2020 to take our sons until Covid hit. So here we are in 2024 and we finally have the opportunity to go back and bring Christian to his birth country. We are all excited to not only visit, but to serve different communities in the Lusaka area. 

Some of the things we will be doing is using a curriculum from Kidzana to lead a training seminar for Sunday school teachers in the area and for the Champs (a group of college aged kids who have been in a discipleship program with the Huckaby’s). We will also be working with the Chisomo Street ministry that work with boys who live on the streets. We will have the opportunity to minister at Faith Tabernacle Feeding Station feeding vulnerable children in the compounds. We will also be helping out at Camp Ciyanjano with their weekly Bible studies and other ministry events and with your financial gifts be able to possibly even bless the camp with some material needs they have!
