Horrible floods in Cambodia have killed over 100 people and thousands more have been evacuated. This has been brought on by successive storms that have been battering the region.

Daren Beck, ACTION Cambodia Director, writes, “The rain keeps coming here, but so do the opportunities to show Christ!  We will be participating in flood relief work in the coming days and our hope is to contribute up to $5000 toward immediate relief efforts.

“We are partnering with Shalom Mission Cambodia and the Evangelical Fellowship of Cambodia.  Our outreach will be concentrated in the Battambang area of northern Cambodia because it has been the hardest hit.

“Our efforts will come alongside local churches who will be ministering to both their own membership and unbelievers in their communities through compassionate, Gospel-centered care.  The relief will be in the form of emergency care boxes which will include clean water, rice, noodles, mosquito nets, blankets and rain tarp.”
