ACTION Zambia (AZ) partners with Faith Tabernacle Church (FTC) in George compound, which is in close proximity to Camp Ciyanjano. FTC is pastored by Wozifera Ngoma, who is on staff with AZ in the PLD department. His church has a feeding program for HIV-positive children that takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. About 40-50 children come on each of the week days, and 80-100 children attend on Saturdays. Because of the devastating effects of HIV on these children, this feeding program helps them get some constant nutrition throughout the week that their bodies need. During the program, the church also facilities, in conjunction with Andy and Jennifer Ott, games and Bible lessons for the kids in attendance on Saturdays and some basic medical care.
