Jason & Grace Van Ankum

Send a Note Start a Campaign

Jason and Grace both grew up in dutch immigrant farming families on opposite ends of Canada. They met at Redeemer University in Ancaster, ON and later married. God has brought them on mission as pastors on the west coast of British Columbia to missionaries in Zambia, Africa. God directed them to ACTION in June 2015 where they initially served in Lusaka, Zambia in Pastoral Leadership Development. After returning to Canada, they stepped into the role of Ontario Regional Representatives for ACTION.

Grace partners with Father’s Heart Healing Ministries (FHHM) in Arthur, Ontario as Program Coordinator for the Oil of Joy Transitional Housing Program. This is a 1-2 year discipleship program for adult women providing basic therapeutic services as well as an opportunity to integrate into a community that actively participates in healthy friendships, healthy life-styles and being productive members of society. As part of the discipleship program women are invited to rent one of the living spaces from FHHM.

Grace also provides Addiction Counselling services to women in the Beauty for Ashes Transformation House (BATH) program with FHHM. BATH is a residence for women exiting human trafficking, the sex trade and addiction. Our desire is for women to be encountered and transformed by the love of God and to re-discover their true worth and value. Grace meets weekly with residents of the program for individual counselling and an addiction group.
