Wellington & Paula Alves

Start a Campaign

Wellington and Paula joined ACTION Brazil in 2019. Together with their daughter Jennifer, they run ACTION Brazil’s refugee home - Hope House - in São Paulo.

Their background of ministering to children from the slums of São Paulo helps them as they provide women and children at Hope House with temporary housing while they seek to establish themselves in Brazil. Wellington and Paula live on site, and the families know them for their love and support.

When they are not helping with the ministries at Hope House, they are working toward their seminary degrees, and Paula is also a grade school teacher. They also run a tutoring program for neighborhood children, a women's prayer group, and children's holiday programs.
