Adam & Alei Hussey

Send a Note Start a Campaign

Adam is from Sturbridge, Massachusetts. He graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in 2005 with a degree in Communications.

Adam first served with ACTION in Gulu, Uganda, from 2007-2008. After 8 months on the field in Gulu, Adam contracted a severe case of malaria which required him to return to the States for treatment. In October of 2008 Adam then went to serve the Lord in the Philippines through video production, street children outreaches, and youth discipleship.

It was in the Philippines where Adam met his wife Alei, and the two were married in April of 2010. They have two beautiful children, Eliana (9) and Dawson (7).

Adam and Alei began a ministry called Faith Hope Love which ministers in a large squatter community 30 minutes south of Metro Manila. Faith Hope Love has children’s Bible studies, teenage boys and girls being discipled one-on-one, a teen boys' and a teen girls' Bible study, youth club, and leadership training for the teen leaders.

In March of 2020 the Hussey family returned to the States because of the Covid lockdowns in Manila. After coming stateside, Adam and Alei have sensed the Lord transitioning them into another season of ministry. They have transferred responsibility of their Philippine ministry into the very capable hands of their Filipino staff and a local Philippine church.

Adam now works with the ACTION USA office as the Director of Online Training and Missions Mobilizer for the East Coast, where they currently reside. They are excited about encouraging churches and individuals to partner with ACTION and to integrate missions into the local church on a deeper level.
