Hello, my name is Mika Ingle and I would like to take this time to give you the chance to understand my heart and hear some of my testimony!
When I was young my family attended a small congregation in the town where I grew up, La Grange, KY. In high school I went to live with other relatives and because of that became more involved and active within the church. Even still my heart was not in pursuit of God, nor did I have any understanding of what a relationship with Him meant. I also had never felt a part of community or at home in a church. At that time my heart was seeking affirmation and acceptance from the youth group, as well as family and others around me. It was not until I had the opportunity to participate in La Grange missions, VBS, and to assist my cousin with puppet shows for kids ministry that I was able to feel joy and a part of something larger. It was then too that I experienced a closeness to God.
It wasn’t until two years ago when I rededicated my life to Christ that the realization of the joy I had experienced during my youth came from serving God as well as others. During these last two and a half years I have been growing in my knowledge and understanding of God, experiencing what it really means to be a part of a church family and community, serving Him through church and community, and developing a strong desire to serve globally!
I’m so thankful and joyful to have the opportunity to serve alongside Mario and Lika Milhomem in Brazil at the start of the new year. Please keep me in your prayers as I continue on this journey and that He provides the support through His people as He prepares the way!
Thank you for your prayers and support!
