Silvio and Wallesca Ribeiro

Silvio and Wallesca have two young children and live in the hot northern region of Brazil in a small rural community not too far from Fortaleza. They recently began revitalizing the little Baptist church which has existed seventeen years in the community without significant growth. The area suffers with poor education, poverty, child abuse, domestic violence, and a mix of the animistic and Roman Catholic faiths, making it a difficult mission field. Silvio and Wallesca also minister to the children and teens from Lar Davis, the orphanage which is right by the church. They have a focus on raising disciples through strengthening leadership in the church and helping people understand their gifting, so they can serve the church and community confidently. Please pray from them as they raise support and work to evangelize and disciple people in this difficult community.
