I grew up in Northern British Colombia. After hearing about Jesus at a kids’ club (AWANA) I chose to follow Christ as a young child. I always dreamed about being a missionary but I didn’t have a chance to serve overseas until the summer after I graduated from high school. Since that time, I have had many opportunities to serve locally in Canada and the USA, and globally, in Honduras, Paraguay, India, and Rwanda.
After high school graduation, I headed to Peace River Bible Institute, thinking of staying for two years. However, after I completed my first year I decided to take a break from school, and headed home to work for a year. In 2009-2010, I joined an arts evangelism team for nine months, as well as a team to Rwanda the following summer. I then chose to head back to PRBI to finish my schooling with a 4 year Bachelor of Religious Education in Christian Ministries with a counseling minor. In May, 2013, I and 4 other students from PRBI are heading to Rwanda for a month long, short term trip with ACTION. I anticipate joining Action Ventures at the end of August as an intern.
At ACTION Ventures I am involved in recruitment/mobilization and training of short term teams of young people, using the performing arts to reveal Jesus to the world. I love the arts and have a great passion for discipleship.
