Lorna is a graduate of Prairie Bible College. They have four adult children, Kristina, Daniel, Nicole & Jonathan. If someone were to ask you how to describe their ministry, you could say, “Martin & Lorna are focused on Discipling the Whole person. They share God’s Word and train in sustainability solutions especially among the poor.”

During their time in the Philippines, Martin and Lorna served in jail ministry, outreach to street children and their families, church planting among the urban poor and city transformation in Mandaluyong City (Mahn-da-loo’-yong) with the Mandaluyong Christian Churches Association (MCCA). They pastored the Fil-Indian Fellowship for 2 years and experimented with backyard sustainability projects for 5 years. They now work with appropriate technologies for poverty families seeking to help them become sustainable through primarily permaculture (permanent agriculture) or creation designs.
