Al was born in the Philippines and moved to Canada in 1970s. He went back to the Philippines to marry Sonie in 1980s. They have two grown children and 1 grandson.

Al came to Christ in 2005 with a strong conviction and calling from God. He attended two years of Bible study at Emmanuel Bible College in Kitchener, Ontario and led bible study groups for several years. Sonie came to Christ in 2006 and after a few years, volunteered with Kids Ministry in their local church. Al actively participated in short missions to Manila, Philippines with Angels of Hope U.S.A. in 2007, and to Malawi, Africa in 2009. In January 2014, Al & Sonie participated in a short-term mission in Manila and Bohol alongside ACTION Philippines’ Street Impact Team, led by ACTION missionaries, Jeff and Maryann Anderson. This experience led them to pursue full-time missionary work.

After many years of prayers, God finally gave the Tadeo’s a vision and passion to partner with Action International Ministries. In June 2015, ACTION accepted them as career missionaries.

Al and Sonie are now raising their needed financial and prayer support. Their anticipated plan is to hopefully relocate to the Philippines in the next year to begin serving in the Greater Manila area with under privileged youth, children, and families through various programs, such as education, feeding programs, and youth and family outreach ministries.
