Growing up, my “what I want to be when I grow up” changed numerous times. What has never changed is that I love families, children, and serving others in the name of Jesus. I have always been captivated by and felt pulled to stories of men and women who left their comfort zone to further the kingdom of God and make His name known. Growing up in Hawai’i among many other diverse peoples and cultures gave me a love of cultural differences and a passion to hear people’s stories. All of these things are parts of what have brought me to this point to be able to go to Angola and to meet and live alongside a family doing exactly what I want to do: Love God and make His name known.

I have had the gift of going on a few other missions and outreach trips and know that the Lord has used each experience to prepare, teach me, and show me the beauty of the global Church. I have been studying how to interact with other people, understand the Bible deeper, and what it means to live a life that glorifies our Heavenly Father and makes His name known for the past three years in school.  I am so excited for the opportunity to see these skills and ideas moved from the classroom to the field.

I invite you and would love for you to consider supporting me financially for this trip and praying for me as I go to Angola and learn more of what it means to serve the Lord in other cultures and contexts. I pray that, in doing so, you are drawn closer to the Lord and that His name alone is glorified. Thank you for joining me to love others well!
