One of the greatest needs in the mountaintop community of this very isolated portion of South Asia is to assist and educate hundreds of children who are impoverished and orphaned.  The Arun Top English School provides an educational opportunity for the children.

Students currently walk 4 to 7 hours per day to attend the school.  The trails are very rough with steep drop-offs.  Their parents have asked for a shelter for their children to allow them to remain near the school during the week.  We are hoping to build it in the near future.

The shelter will become a significant mission center in its own right as well as a blessing to the students. The doors for the Gospel have been opening through the Arun Top English School.  Devotions are part of their daily lives and will be included in the shelter as well.

“Reaching Himalayas Fellowship” equips local believers in their walk with God.

RHF opened The Arun Top English School in Linggam, Nepal, to provide for their education.  The school supplies their uniforms, shoes, jackets, tuition fees, medical, and emergency assistance, as well as a quality education, and has been open since 2014.  English is one of the subjects as it can open doors of future employment to the youth.

The new shelter, accommodating 15-20 children, will cost an estimated $7,000 to build and run for one year. Thank you very much for your consideration!
