HondurasACTION partners with The Cornerstone Foundation in Honduras. The Cornerstone Foundation seeks to build a diverse community of Christians serving the people of the north coast of Honduras through medical care, evangelism, public health, chaplaincy, community development, and pastoral and leadership training. The project in Ecuador that ACTION and The Cornerstone Foundation work together on is Hospital Loma de Luz. Hospital Loma de Luz is located on the north shore of Honduras, in the state of Colón, bordering the Caribbean Sea.
ACTION missionaries Dr. Leon and Judy Greene became full-time missionaries in Honduras in March 2005. Leon is a cardiologist at Hospital Loma de Luz. Judy works in children’s ministries, Bible studies, hospitality, and helps in the Cardiology and ENT clinics.
The following are needed at Hospital Loma de Luz: nurses, doctors, anesthesiologists, dentists, physician’s assistants, medical technicians, construction and maintenance workers, pastors, teachers, and orphanage workers.
