Gospel-centered books are rare in the Khmer language. And this is a resource especially lacking for Christian leaders and families.

Dear friends, this Christmas we ask for your support in creating Christian books for children and families in Cambodia. These books will help families hear about God’s love in Jesus Christ.
Early this year we began to raise funds for books and now we are half-funded. We have changed 2 of the books so that the project focuses on children and family resources.
Please give and pray for these gospel-rich resources in Cambodia. It is our hope and prayer to raise funds for these book projects below to strengthen the church and glorify Christ.

1. New City Catechism Curriculum (Volume 1)
This curriculum and activities will teach kids the doctrines of Christianity with Sunday School Teacher Programs throughout the provinces. This features fifty-two engaging lessons developed from the questions and answers of ‘The New City Catechism,’ designed to help children ages 8–11 learn the core doctrines of the Christian faith in a Sunday school and classroom setting. 2. The Christmas Promise Storybook: A True Story from the Bible about God's Forever King
This Bible storybook teaches young children all about Christmas and how God kept his promise to send a savior King. This book is a captivating retelling of the Christmas story, showing how God kept his promise to send a new King, a rescuing King, a forever King! 3. Preparing for Marriage in Jesus Christ
The concept of pre-marriage counseling is foreign to many couples in the Cambodian church. This book is an excellent resource to point people to the truths of God as they prepare for the covenant of marriage. This is written by a local author.

Cambodia: Translation and Publishing Ministry

ACTION Cambodia exists to glorify God by serving the Khmer people in the name of Christ. We desire that the church be built in Cambodia, that the Word of God be proclaimed, that the cross of Christ be exalted, and that God be worshipped. Our Translation Team has strategically sought to publish Christ-centered resources in books and online in the Khmer language.
Online Videos and Articles
Our Khmer website name is PlovPit, meaning "The True Way". It is a online resource created to fill the void of solid online Christian content. We create Khmer-language articles, videos, quotes, and comics, posting on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, our mobile app, and our website. These are developed by our missionaries, local Khmer pastors, and translated from Desiring God, Ligonier, Got Questions, Crossway, 9 Marks, The Gospel Coalition, Tim Challies, Adam4d, The Cripple Gate, and others.
Christ-Centered Books
There are very few biblical resources available to Christian Cambodians in their own language, and even fewer tools are available to pastors in their study. The ACTION Cambodia Translation Ministry has strategically sought to publish Christ-centered resources in book and online formats in the Khmer language.
Our book projects have included: Jesus Storybook Bible (Sally Lloyd-Jones), New City Catechism (Gospel Coalition), Fifty Reasons Jesus Came To Die (John Piper), Prosperity? (Mbugua, Maura, Mbewe, Grudem, Piper), What Is A Healthy Church (Mark Dever), and Foundations Of The Faith (Grace Community Church).
