Safal M.

Safal originates from a remote village where his father who had a disability, died mysteriously. A snake bite was suspected but with no access to antivenom or medical support, the man could not survive. Safal did not cope well with the death of his father and became very wild refusing to attend school but instead roaming the area.

Safal’s situation was referred to Hope Home and in June, 2018 Safal joined the home. Initially, Safal found it very difficult to assimilate, however with slow transition and gaining his trust, Safal has been able to become an active and helpful addition to the home, participating fully in his jobs and attending school regularly.

About Safal:
Favourite colours are green and white.
His career aim is to be a chef. His favorite
activity is cooking.
His favourite food is chicken with dal bhat
Hope Home special chores: picking vegetables in the garden, daily walking the guard dog, food preparation, cleaning rooms and assisting with care of the goats and pigs. He can also cut hair and do simple motorbike repairs.
He is 1.6 m tall (5 foot 3) and weighs 46 kg.

He is very happy and excited to have joined Hope home where he receives the love of a supportive Christian family, nutritious meals, and where his medical and educational needs are met.
