Absalon and Jamile Borges
Absalon and Jamile live with their two daughters in a rural town in Brazil. They spread the love of Jesus promoting social justice and forming networks that bring about social transformation. Some of the projects they are involved in include literacy classes for adults, assistance for people who work collecting recycleable materials at the local landfill, and emergency help in disasters. A small church, which Absalon pastors, and many people touched by the good news of the gospel are fruit of Absalon and Jamile’s faith in action lifestyle.
Please pray for them as they raise financial support and work daily in the community ministering Christ’s love to the least of these.
