Peyton Hasse
Hey y’all! I’m SO excited to share that I’ll be heading to Kilkenny, Ireland this August to serve the people there and continue living out the Great Commission.
Over the past few years, God has shown me His deep love for the nations through trips to South Africa and Colombia, and also through the many international communities I’ve encountered right here in Dallas. He’s used these experiences to teach me what daily obedience looks like: engaging in conversations with coworkers, cashiers, waitresses, and people I meet while running errands or going on walks. He’s also shown me the beauty of crossing cultures and sharing Christ’s love in ways that go beyond language barriers.
This time, I get to serve in a predominantly Englishspeaking country, which opens the door for deeper conversations and more direct discipleship. I’m eager to learn from the people of Ireland, understand their culture, and share the hope of the gospel in meaningful, relational ways.
With only about 1.7% of Ireland identifying as evangelical, it’s clear that God’s work there is far from finished. Local churches, missionaries, and faithful believers are already shining the light of Christ, and I’m humbled to join them. Our team of six Americans will be partnering with these believers at the Kinfire Conference—a festival centered on God’s heart for Ireland and His love for the lost. It’s a time of refreshing, rekindling passion for Jesus, and calling people home to the Father. Our hope is to use the gifts God has given us to serve intentionally, joyfully, and in a way that reflects Christ’s love.
To prepare for this trip, I need to raise $3,300. I would love for y’all to partner with me—both financially and through prayer. Any amount you’re able to give means so much. And please join me in praying that this trip is completely covered by God’s strength, not our own. Pray for full trust in His hand, deep surrender to the Holy Spirit, and that the gospel would shine brightly throughout the entire conference. Above all, pray that the name of Jesus is remembered and exalted.
Romans 10:9–10 reminds us of the hope we long to see take root across Ireland—that people would confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead. Even though August is still ahead, I’m already seeing God move in powerful ways, and I cannot wait to see all He continues to do!
