Ike Agawin
Ike has been engaged in cross-cultural missions since 1985. Together with his wife Trudy, Ike served with ACTION in the Philippines and Colombia. Ike serves with Action International Ministries as a Missional Engagement Catalyst, focusing on strengthening the Church’s capacity to send and sustain missionaries effectively. With extensive experience in missionary training, organizational leadership, and ministry development, Ike brings both strategic insight and pastoral sensitivity to his ministry.
Having served in senior leadership roles in various mission agency contexts, Ike understands firsthand the challenges churches and agencies face in leadership formation, governance, and missionary sustainability. His ministry now centers on equipping pastors, denominational leaders, and congregations to cultivate a strong theology of sending, build healthy support systems for missionaries, and align church structures with the demands of global mission.
Through teaching, consulting, writing, and leadership development, Ike works to strengthen mission ecosystems—helping ensure that cross-cultural workers are well-prepared, well-supported, and sent from spiritually healthy, missionally vibrant churches.
