Jonathan Kurkilahti
Jonathan and Rachel have been serving in Uganda under ACTION since 2018 doing child sponsorship and school development work with Ramona’s Reach. This Canadian-Ugandan couple has been blessed with 2 boys, Isaiah and Levi. Jonathan’s background is in theology with a passion for sustainable community development. Rachel is a social worker by profession, and is passionate about working with children and their families to promote holistic community empowerment at the grassroots level. Their primary focus to answering both these issues is through educating the most vulnerable children in Northern Uganda through sponsorship and scholarship programs all the while engaging with the parents/ caregivers to bring sustainable change to their families and in turn their communities.
