“...to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,” Ephesians 4:12

In 2020, we began working alongside Action International Ministries in the Southern Region of Malawi, Africa teaching lay leaders and pastors through Zoom classes and in Malawi. Over 95% of church leaders have no formal training. Yet, these leaders and those they are discipling in just 4 years have over 1000 mentor (discipleship) groups to lead! In light of this amazing growth, God's call and our burden for the warm heart of Africa, we joined the team at Action Int'l in April, 2024.

“Only, they asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do.” Galatians 2:10

As we equip leaders that make disciples (II Timothy 2:2), we also encourage and assist them with their needs (Hebrews 13:16). As God provides, we give food, bicycles, and Bibles as we teach and preach the Word of God.  Cyclone Freddy in 2023 and the drought in 2024 has left many in need.  Also, Bibles are too expensive and many groups do not have one! 2025 has started with a lack of rain and another cyclone.  Please consider assisting in the projects below.

"Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:21

We plan to continue developing and teaching Zoom lessons for pastors and pray for more churches in the USA to partner with us in training and supporting districts. Please contact us if your church may be interested in how it can join us.

For 2025 we are leading one or more short-term mission trips to evangelize and encourage many in churches, mentor groups and villages.  We also are planning one or more leadership training trips in Malawi to work with leaders in 8 districts.

Nancy and I have 4 children and 4 grandchildren. We will celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary this summer and live on the old family farm east of Woodland, WA.

Please consider donating for ministry expenses above or for specific projects below.  Zikomo kwambiri!
