Matheus & Juliana Negri Negri

We are field workers with ACTION International Ministries, serving in Sub-Saharan Africa in partnership with local churches to strengthen biblical leadership, care for vulnerable communities, and advance the Gospel among the nations. ACTION is committed to proclaiming Jesus Christ through evangelism, discipleship, and holistic ministry, with a special focus on the poor and underserved.

Matheus serves as the Sub-Saharan Africa Regional Coordinator for ACTION International Ministries. In this role, he provides pastoral care for missionaries, mentors national leaders, assists in the development of new ministry fields, and strengthens partnerships with churches, seminaries, and Christian organizations across the region. His desire is to see African churches become biblically grounded, self-sustaining, and actively engaged in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Our ministry is based in Uganda, where we coordinate regional ministries while serving in several strategic areas across Sub-Saharan Africa, including:

• Training and mentoring pastors and church leaders serving in refugee settlements in Northern Uganda.
• Strengthening local churches through biblical leadership development.
• Mobilizing and equipping African believers for cross-cultural missions and outreach to unreached people groups.
• Promoting sustainable community development through agriculture, food security, and livelihood initiatives.
• Caring for children and families in vulnerable situations.
• Partnering with churches, seminaries, and Christian networks to equip the next generation of ministry leaders.

In addition to his regional responsibilities, Matheus teaches theology and missions in leadership training programs across Africa. He also helps develop initiatives such as the Mission’s Academy, a partnership designed to equip pastors and church leaders for biblical ministry, church planting, and holistic mission.

Juliana serves through women’s discipleship, biblical counseling, family care, and leadership development. Through her ministry, Women Who Care, she equips women to grow in spiritual maturity, emotional health, and faithful service to Christ by providing biblical teaching, mentoring, and practical resources.

Together with our two sons, Lucca and Pietro, our prayer is to see healthy churches multiplying disciples, equipping leaders, and sending missionaries throughout Africa and beyond.
