Phil Harris
My name is Phil Harris. I am married to Laura, and we have three children who are married. I am also blessed to have eight grandchildren.
I am excited to serve with Action International Ministries to help equip church leaders in the Great Commission Movement of witnessing and discipleship to plant and multiply churches.
I have been a pastor in Canada for the last 44 years. During this time, one passion has been to grow as a fruitful witness of Jesus and to equip others to do the same. This has led to writing a book called “From Fearful to Fruitful: Hope for every Christian to Impact the World through Witnessing.” I use it for our local church witnessing training.
Another passion has been to research specifically what it means to be a follower of Christ according to the Great Commission, and to develop discipleship pathways that make and multiply disciples accordingly. This has led to the creation of a resource called “Be Discipled – Make Disciples.” I also use this in our church.
Both these resources have been developed through Bible study and my personal witnessing and discipling experiences in Canada and in other countries.
My hope is to utilize them to help equip church leaders both in Canada and beyond to make disciples of all nations and plant and multiply churches.
