Marion has had a lifetime of ministry to children and adults in local church leadership, in camping ministries across Canada, in the United States, and over 21 years. She was also a missionary to Pakistan. She completed business college training as a young adult and then graduated from Briercrest Bible College in Canada in Christian Education.

Marion served as a Missionary/Mobilizer under BCM International (Canada) Inc. for 40years, conducting seminars and kids’ mission events. She is an international Trainer with Iternational Network of Children’s Ministriis’ mission projects and co-author of the course of study, “Chronological Bible Storying for Children”. She has conducted seminars in Central Asia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Romania, Ukraine, Nigeria, South Africa, Panama and Scotland, and for workers from many other countries that have come to these locations for training.

In February 2003, Marion Jean was a recipient of the Excellence in Ministry to Children award, one of the most prestigious international recognitions for outstanding accomplishment in children’s ministry from International Network of Children’s Ministry. In September 2012, at Briercrest College and Seminary Mission Conference, Marion was awarded a letter of encouragement for over 50 years of service to children around the world.

On a return trip in March 2007 to Pakistan, the Women’s Christian Hospital presented MJ with a plaque in recognition of the dedicated service rendered for the fruitful “Sunday School Teachers Training” and a second one for the co-founding of a girls’ conference. She is also co-author of the “Essentials in International Chronological Bible Storying for Children Seminar” and the “Chronological Bible Storying International” course for colleges and seminaries.” Her travels for training and speaking have taken her to Scotland on several occasions.
