Frank and Greissis Lopez

Send a Note Start a Campaign

We are a Christian family, married 16 years. God has blessed us with two children, Frank Abel, 10, and Abdías Rey, 5. We live about 20 miles west of Havana in the town of Caimito.

We have belonged to our local church for almost 20 years and have served the Lord Jesus in the church in many ministries. For 11 years, we worked with an international organization, and our role was to direct the training of Christian college-age leaders for the whole island of Cuba.

Regarding education, Greissis has her law degree and is a certified teacher. Frank has a degree in Music Education and has taught for 15 years. Both of us use our spiritual gifts and abilities in our local church and also in our denomination's nationwide outreach.

At present, we're serving as ministers in the area of teaching. We train the body of pastors and the leaders of our group through the Elim Bible Institute of Cuba. Frank is the Dean of the Leadership Faculty at Elim. Through this ministry, we became connected to ACTION and the ministry of Brian and Celia Stewart. We assisted ACTION in obtaining visas and with related correspondence with the government authorities as the mission developed its program of events and activities in Cuba.

In 2017, we felt the call of God to become part of ACTION's team on a full-time basis and since then have become Coordinators for Western Cuba, serving the Lord by ministering to many pastors and their churches in this part of the island.

As missionaries of ACTION, we distribute Bibles and Christian books to various denominations in the western area of Cuba. We coordinate workshops, conferences, and other events to further the training of pastors and Christian leaders as they expand their ministries. We give out reading  glasses to those in need and also distribute bicycles to pastors and missionaries who do not have other means of traveling to their preaching points. When catastrophic events such as hurricanes occur, we not only give spiritual aid to the victims but also distribute food, clothing, shoes, toiletries, medicine, school supplies, toys, and the like to poor families.  When we have the resources, we also assist the elderly who live in retirement homes by taking apples, toiletries, and other basic items, which opens the door to the presentation of the Gospel message.

We love and believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We are open to the will of God with the objective of carrying out His purposes for our family. If you would like to assist us in this ministry, please be in touch with us.
