PERSONAL TESTIMONY

What a joy to serve the Lord in reaching out to the new generations! I mean children, youth, new marriages and emerging servants of God.

Perhaps the fact that I was saved by Jesus when I was eight years old, baptized at the age of nine and not much later called to missions, have sensitized me to the new generations for Christ.

I have served for over 28 years in the ministries of evangelism, discipleship and missions in Costa Rica and the United States of America, primarily. The Lord has used me in different capacities (Pastoring, Church-planting and Mentoring). During the first twenty years of ministry I was able to do it full time and, the last eight years I have done it bi-vocationally. My wife and three children have always been the rest of my team for the glory of God. Bea and I have been married for over 22 years and have seen many souls coming to the Savior and have also had the privilege to disciple not only a few of them all the way up to ministry.

We are currently serving in the Family Ministries Pastoral position of our local church (International Baptist Church of San José, Costa Rica). Nothing will alleviate us more at this moment than to be able to go back to full time ministry, just for the fact of not having to limit our time to do more for the cause of Christ. All the financial support that God allowed us to receive will be used towards that goal and for the funding of our New Generation Projects.

NEW GENERATION PROJECTS - NG4CHRIST

Our Purpose is to reach out to four targeted groups to do evangelism, discipleship and ministerial equipping:

  • Children
  • Youth
  • Young Married Couples
  • Rookies in the Ministry

Besides our local ministries through our home church, we are available for the Lord to use us on specific endeavors to team up with recently planted churches and missions towards Christian camps & retreats, Bible conferences and training seminars in both languages, English and Spanish; in and out of Costa Rica “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in (us) will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” There is no doubt that “the one who calls (us) is faithful, and he will do it.”
