I grew up in a small town in North Carolina where I became a believer and began to love ministry with children. I went on my first short-term missions trip the summer after I graduated from high school, and since then, I had already started praying about which country the Lord would have me move to because I knew that this was a desire of mine to serve Him in another nation (Lord willing, of course). Throughout my college years, I served on various short-term missions trips to Hungary, Brazil, and Argentina focused on English-teaching ministry as an outreach to share Jesus. After graduating from Liberty University in 2018 with a degree in social work, I worked for about two years in an English school in Brasília, Brazil, that served as an evangelistic outreach and social project. However, I had been praying that the Lord would open up a door for me to serve more directly with Brazilian children/teenagers in a social work type of way one day.

The Lord has opened a door for me to work with Action International and to serve with ABBA (and/or other related ministry projects in São Paulo), and I couldn’t be more thankful to Him for this! My passion is to advocate for, serve, help meet the holistic needs of, and, of course, share the goods news of Jesus with and disciple those children and adolescents who are deemed “at-risk” and “vulnerable” in our society. My heart has always been for these people and their temporal and eternal needs, and I am looking forward to serving Him and them with Action International starting in July 2020.
