Benjamin and Mimi Miranda

After serving as a pastor for twenty-five years, Benjie enters a new chapter in ministry as part of ACTION International Ministries Philippines. 

On December 4, 2021, he was commissioned by ACTION with the full support of his family. Benjie and his wife Mimi are part of the Member Care Ministry that provides pastoral care to the missionaries and staff of the Philippines office. The couple has faithfully provided shepherding care at a local church and beyond. They now obey the call to focus on caring for their fellow servants in the harvest field. 

They do this by way of visitation, counseling, prayer, debriefing, practical assistance, and hosting times of fellowship. During the orientations for new missionaries, they present the key facts about the Philippines as well as the latest developments and trends in the Filipino culture to help missionaries address cross-cultural concerns. It is the couple’s prayer that they, together with faithful supporters, be used by the Lord to refresh the hearts and souls of the ACTION missionaries in the Philippines.  

Benjie and Mimi are partners in ministry and in life. They got married on December 9, 1990 and were blessed with three children. Two are young adult professionals, Mia, and BJ. Their third child, Heidi, went to be with Jesus in the heavenly kingdom when she was two years old in 2001.
